THE COURTYARD AT 51 BUCKINGHAM GATE: LONDON’S AL FRESCO DINING SPOT
April 20 2009
20 April 2009 – The Courtyard at 51 Buckingham Gate is opening its gates to London’s gastronomic enthusiasts this summer, offering the perfect setting for al fresco dining in its secluded courtyard.
Discreetly tucked away between Victoria Street and St James’s Park, diners can sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet of this hidden gem. The Victorian fountain, the Shakespearian frieze on the façade of the buildings and the carefully tended flowerbeds combine to bring a truly summery feel to SW1. Themed menus, including Quilon-inspired dishes by Michelin star chef, Sriram Aylur, will all be freshly prepared on 51’s brand new, state of the art BBQ.
Depending on your designated theme, a professional sommelier from Australian wine specialist, Secret Vine, will be on hand to personally recommend an appropriate choice of wine to complement your dining experience.
Highlights will include:
- “Dine under the Stars” – a Quilon-inspired menu every Wednesday
- A Lebanese-themed buffet available on Mondays
- A traditional British BBQ on offer four days a week Seafood Grill & Buffet on Fridays
- Themed menus based on events in the capital taking place throughout the summer months
Price of BBQ menu is £25 per person, exclusive of wine.
